About the Speaker(s):
Atakan Cetinsoy, Vice President – Predictive Applications, BigML
Based in Silicon Valley, Atakan has conceived, launched and successfully commercialized data driven software products in B2B, online finance and digital media markets. Atakan is currently working with the BigML’s customers to make advanced predictive analytics accessible to a much larger business audience.
Atakan has also served in senior management roles with the cloud-based employee spend management vendor Deem, the personalization software company Strands as well as notable Fortune 500 firms such as Apple, Yahoo and FedEx.
Poul Petersen, Chief Infrastructure Officer – BigML
Poul Petersen is a co-founder of BigML and is in charge of all things infrastructure. With 20 plus years of experience building scalable and fault tolerant systems in data centers, Poul currently enjoys the benefits of programmatic infrastructure, hacking in Python to run https://bigml.com with only a laptop and a cloud. He holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Oregon State University as well as BS degrees in Mathematics, Physics and Engineering Physics.
