*Graduate Research School (GRS) - Christmas 2025/New Year 2026*

Commencing from 15 December 2025 to 9 January 2026 the GRS team will be operating online and the physical location (CB05C.03.025) will be closed. Therefore, we are open for International student enrolments from 12 January 2026.

The university’s official Christmas and New Year break is from 25 December 2025 to 2 January 2026, and the GRS will not be operating on these dates.

We expect that Faculties and Institutes at UTS will also have varying holiday closure periods and we request you to check the holiday closure dates for Faculty/Institute offices.

If you need to submit your thesis during your Faculty/Institute/University, closure dates:

  • Submit your thesis, and all required documents to your faculty research administrator via ResearchMaster.
  • Once approved by the Faculty RAO, the faculty can submit your thesis to GRS between 2 January and 9 January 2026.
  • GRS will backdate your thesis submission date to your actual EWS date if your EWS date falls between 15 December 2025 to 9 January 2026.
