Join the inspiring community of UTS staff
The UTS Staff Giving Program exists to ensure students can successfully complete their tertiary education, regardless of cultural, social or financial barriers.
For nearly two decades, UTS staff have donated more than $2 million through the UTS Staff Giving Program. Thanks to the incredible generosity of this community and the university matching donations dollar for dollar, thousands of UTS students have received critical support to complete their education through financial assistance and pastoral care.
For me, the UTS community has been my group of earth angels — they came to my rescue when I needed it the most, providing support and encouragement at every step. Thanks to them, my kids can now thrive and have the resources they need to succeed.

How to become a staff donor
- Sign up as a regular giver and Payroll donations are deducted from your fortnightly pay using your pre-taxed salary
- You can direct your gift to one of three causes:
- Scholarships for students facing financial hardship
- Indigenous student support services
- Thesis completion equity grants for research students
- 100% of your donation goes directly to students as the University absorbs all administrative costs and UTS matches all gifts dollar-for-dollar
Hear from staff in our community
Every dollar we give makes a difference. I know it is one of the few ways I can positively impact the life of someone who – one day armed with a UTS degree – might positively impact the lives of others. How can I not be part of our Staff Giving Program?

I really appreciate that the university matches my donation, doubling the impact. 100% of my donation goes directly to students, which greatly matters to me. Another reason I donate is how it makes me feel. Being kind and generous improves my own happiness and well-being.

I encourage you to join me and hundreds of staff donors across the campus because every donation, no matter how large or small, creates a positive ripple effect that benefits students and fosters a sense of community.
