If you’re an elite athlete or performer, and your commitments have impacted on your studies, you can apply for our Elite Athletes and Performers Special Admissions Scheme.
Applicants will be asked to demonstrate that their commitments as an elite athlete or performer have had an impact on their educational performance. Applicants need to apply through UAC for the course they wish to study, then submit an application for the special admission scheme directly to UTS.

You are considered to be an elite athlete if you have officially represented your school or state at national level competition during years 11 and/or 12, or during other studies relevant to your application and your selection to the relevant team was competitive.
You are considered to be an elite performer if you have performed in extended or significant productions in Australia or overseas during years 11 and/or 12 or during other studies relevant to your application.
To be eligible, you must also be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
