An update about temporary course suspensions for 2026
In May, we gave an overview of UTS 2030 and our plan to set the university up for future success.
Our priority is to be a student-centred university offering an outstanding student experience with a curriculum and courses that reflect student demand and interest. We want to ensure these are future-focused and relevant to you.
The university has recently temporarily suspended new student intakes for some courses up to and including Autumn 2026 session. The courses suspended for new intake have been recommended by faculties and are courses for which there have been low student enrolments over a period of time.
This has no impact on current students at this time and is aimed at future students looking to commence their studies at UTS in 2026.
We've put together a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) you may have.
