Graduation invitation

Graduands are invited to attend graduation ceremonies by conferral. If you're unsure when you were conferred, your conferral date is on your academic record (transcript) and testamur.

November 2025 and February 2026 conferrals: Thursday 26 February 2026 to Wednesday 11 March 2026.

March 2026 conferrals: Tuesday 31 March 2026 to Tuesday 7 April 2026.

Thursday 7 May 2026 to Friday 5 June 2026 (dates subject to change).
Spring 2026Graduates conferred in May 2026, July 2026 and/or September 2026. 

May and July 2026 conferrals: TBA

September 2026 conferrals: TBA

Late October to November 2026 (indicative dates to be listed shortly).

Eligibility to defer

If you're unable to attend the ceremony season that you've been invited to, you can defer to attend a future ceremony season. Eligibility applies as outlined below.

You must complete the deferral form in order to be invited to a future ceremony season. When completing the form, you'll be prompted to nominate which ceremony season you wish to be invited to.

If you were conferred prior to or during September 2024, you're no longer eligible to attend a UTS graduation ceremony. Should you still wish to attend a graduation ceremony, please submit an Ask UTS enquiry.
