UTS CareerHub is a free online career platform that can help you discover current job opportunities, events, and resources to help you on your career journey.

Through CareerHub you can:

  • search the job board to view and apply for current vacancies
  • register for a place at upcoming career events
  • access additional career related resources
  • view your appointments and event bookings.

If you’ve just finished your studies and are looking for direction, book in a free 15-minute consultation with one of UTS Careers’ Peer Career Advisors. These student consultants can help you determine your next steps, alert you to different resources you can take advantage of, and help you find some direction for your future career.

Find a mentor or become a mentor

The Professional Mentoring Platform is an online community designed to connect students and recent graduates with industry professionals. UTS alumni, staff, and external industry professionals are eligible to join as volunteer mentors. 

UTS students and recent graduates across all faculties and levels of study are eligible to join as mentees. To learn more or join the community – visit the platform’s website.

Have your resume reviewed instantly – day or night – and receive feedback on what you can improve on to ensure you’re giving your best in your next job application.

Write and upload your resume to receive advice on structure, wording, length, design, and more. You can then assess how your resume performs, as Rate My Resume benchmarks your resume against others across UTS and industry.

Advertise jobs or internships

We’re always looking for opportunities for our students and graduates to enter the workforce. If you’re responsible for recruitment or hiring in your role, you may wish to advertise opportunities through CareerHub.

Advertising is free, whether you’re promoting an internship, part-time, full-time, casual, paid or unpaid position. Contact UTS Careers for further details and assistance with getting started as an employer on CareerHub.

Connect with other career services 

The UTS Careers team are focused on supporting students and new graduates looking to enter the workforce.

 Alumni beyond 2 years of their course completion date who need career support (such as testing, assessment, coaching, or multi-session advising) should seek a local career advisor through the directory of practitioners recommended by the Career Development Association of Australia. They also have some free resources that you may find useful.
