Overview
The Prize, a gift, made by the Police Federation Australia, sets out to encourage students to achieve academic excellence in the subject: 21037 Managing Employee Relations.
Who is eligible
To be eligible for the Prize, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Have received a result in the subject Managing Employee Relations (21037) in Autumn or Spring session in the year prior to the selection of the Prize.
- The student must not have previously attempted or received any prior results for this subject.

Selection process
- The Prize will be awarded to the student who receives the highest overall score for the Industrial Instrument Report within the subject 'Managing Employee Relations' (21037) in either Autumn or Spring session in the year prior to award;
If more than one student achieved the same top result in this assessment during Autumn or Spring session the recipient will be decided by the subject convenor, including broader performance in the subject.
Other information
Dr.Giuseppe Carabetta is an Associate Professor of employment law with the UTS Business School. Giuseppe has been a long-term adviser, pro bono, to the Police Federation of Australia. Under Giuseppe's guidance this opportunity has been proudly brought to the University of Technology Sydney from its initial conception at the University of Sydney.
