Overview
This prize was established in 1991 to award the best Honours project in the field of Materials Science.
Who is eligible
The Recipient must graduate from the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics in the year for which the award is made. The Recipient's Honours project must be in the field of Materials Science.
Selection process
The highest mark awarded for a project in the field of Materials Science in the final research subjects in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics In the event that two or more eligible students have the same highest aggregate mark, the following criteria will be considered:
- Performance in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics outside of formal assessment that demonstrates mastery of and engagement in the subjects;
- Overall academic performance in the student's award course, whether the student has failed other subjects, received academic cautions or had a finding of misconduct made against them.
