Overview
The Prize was established to recognise outstanding academic achievement in Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering in undergraduate studies.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for the Prize, the Recipient must:
- Have successfully completed the course requirements in the academic year prior to the award in one of the following:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), or
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice (or the equivalent course), or
- any combined Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) course; and
- Have a major in Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronic Engineering, or Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering.
Selection process
The Recipient will be selected by the Prize Committee, and is considered by the relevant results ratification committee, school board or faculty board.
In the event that two or more eligible students have the same highest Weighted Average Mark (WAM) one recipient will be selected based on the specified selection criteria in clause 5.
