Philippa Williams Ethics and Justice Prize

To recognise the best-performing student in the subject 70103 Ethics Law and Justice.

• The Recipient must be enrolled in a UTS award course and receive a result in subject 70103 Ethics Law and Justice in the academic year for which the prize is being awarded.
• If 70103 Ethics Law and Justice is not offered in the academic year for which the prize is to be awarded, then the donor may:
  • nominate another subject for that academic year; or
  • decline to award the prize for that academic year.

• The prize will be awarded to the student with the highest final mark in subject 70103 Ethics Law and Justice in the relevant academic year[1].
• In the event that two or more eligible students have the same highest final mark, the following criteria will be considered:
  • Performance in subject 70103 Ethics Law and Justice outside of formal assessment that demonstrates mastery of and engagement in the subject;
  • Whether the student has previously attempted subject 70103 Ethics Law and Justice;
  • Overall academic performance in the student's award course, including GPA, whether the student has failed other subjects, received academic cautions or had a finding of misconduct against them.
