Why/how is the information being collected?
The information is being collected in order to monitor housekeeping standards in residences at UTS Housing. Residents scan a QR code in studios, apartments and building common areas. They will be directed to a web form that can be used to report cleaning requirements and provide feedback, including photos of the space. The QR codes are also used by cleaning staff for reporting.
What information is being collected?
Information collected includes name and email address. Residents submit feedback in the form of text, and if necessary, can upload up to three photos. This information will be linked to the site-specific QR code, which allows UTS Housing to match the feedback to the correct location, and take further action.
Who will the information be disclosed to, and why?
The information will be accessed by UTS Housing and Vivid Property Services, in order to ensure housekeeping standards. It may also be used by UTS Housing for welfare purposes.
How can I access/change the information submitted through the QR code?
If you wish to request access to or correct information submitted through the QR codes, then please contact UTS Housing, who will then instruct Vivid Property Services.

Are there any consequences for not providing this information?
The QR code requires your details (name and email address) in order for the feedback to be submitted. If you do not wish to use this system you can provide your feedback direct to UTS Housing Reception.
Where and how is the data stored?
The data is stored on the Vivid Property Services server in Erskine Park, NSW.
How long will the information be retained for?
The information will be stored for 7 years, after which it will be destroyed.
