Historical analysis reveals the path forward for better relationships with corporate stakeholders.

RESEARCH OUTPUTS

Fishing boats docked at marina

This project was managed by ISF and was implemented in collaboration with FASS and UoW. It delivered Fisheries Queensland with clear methods to expand the effectiveness of its engagement activities with commercial stakeholders (commercial fishers, charter operators and seafood processors and wholesalers). These methods were informed by current activities and provided specific and practical procedures or modifications that could be used to gain active stakeholder participation in reform processes. The project provided Fisheries Queensland with a number of recommendations for improving the interaction with commercial fishers.
