With funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, UTS-ISF is carrying out three projects to equip the urban sanitation sector with tools and knowledge for building climate resilience:

  1. Development of a framework for assessing the climate resilience of sanitation technologies;
  2. Development of an approach for city governments in LMICs to assess and respond to the risk of sea-level rise for sanitation services; and
  3. A landscape survey to gather knowledge on the current status of programming, policies and research evidence on urban sanitation and climate change globally
