What to expect when you report to UTS
What if I choose not to make a report?
If you do not wish to make a report, you can still access help and support by making a disclosure.
Students can work with a UTS counsellor and/or a safety caseworker who will provide confidential support and assistance. They will also take you through the steps and support options, including the option to make a report at any time.
Staff may contact the People Unit or the Employee Assistance Program (Staff Connect).
You can also report the incident at any time, even at a later date. Making a disclosure can help you to decide what to do.
What if I don’t know what to do?
It's normal to feel overwhelmed in these situations. By making a disclosure UTS will be able to understand your situation and provide support, including discussing the options available to you.
