The Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Data Science hub will collaborate with researchers, assisting with study design and analysis for health research.
We provide expert services in:
- statistical support for PhD students
- statistical support for clinical trials and digital health initiatives at UTS
- consultation services at the planning, ethics application, implementation, analysis and write-up stages of research projects
- a professional development program of regular workshops for students and staff
- expert advice on statistical aspects of grant writing, including sample size calculations and statistical analysis plans
- a centralised hub for biostatisticians, epidemiologists and health data scientists – in the Faculties of Health, Science and Engineering and IT – to engage in sharing best practice and professional development.
