Standards Awards are presented to people who have made significant contributions to standardisation and demonstrated outstanding service to help Standards Australia (SA) attain its objectives.
SA says it’s impossible to put Professor Eager’s success down to a single activity. Since 1997, he has been dedicated to standards development across many areas related to playground and recreational equipment safety, working to make safer playgrounds, and proactive in communicating the benefit of standards.
Playground standards promote active play, fun and enjoyment while allowing Australian children to establish key developmental skills.
