The Faculty KTP (Engineering and IT) Visiting Fellow Program promotes long term research engagement between the Faculty of Engineering and IT and our Faculty Key Technology Partners.
2020 ROUND 1
5 August 2019: Applications open
22 September 2019: Applications close
November 2019: Results announced
If you are interested in the University KTP Visiting Fellow program, which is institutional wide and not faculty-based, please visit KTP Visiting Fellow Program at UTS.
The Faculty Key Technology Partners for Engineering and IT are:
- VNU University of Engineering and Technology
- Hokkaido University
The program supports researchers from Faculty Key Technology Partners to travel to Sydney and work with UTS academics in the Faculty of Engineering and IT on projects of mutual interest.
In addition to research collaboration, academics can discuss joint academic publications, identify co-supervision opportunities, apply for external research funding, broaden their collaborative network at FEIT and their home institution, and present at public seminars.
Research in the Faculty of Engineering and IT is varied, from thought-controlled wheelchairs to big data analysis that informs cancer diagnosis, to affordable earthquake-proof housing for people living in disaster-prone regions.
