Conversation with Mary Brydon-Miller — UTS Fulbright Scholar
UTS Faculty of Design, Architecture & Building is pleased to announce that Fulbright Scholar Mary Brydon-Miller will be presenting an interactive webinar this Sunday 18 September at 11am (AEST). This webinar is hosted by Action Learning, Action Research Association (ALAR Association), with free registration for the event available here. Mary will discuss her work and her time in Australia and New Zealand on the Fulbright Scholarship, as well as examining ways of continuing and extending this work through the ALAR Association network.
Mary works as a Fulbright Research Fellow at UTS, collaborating with Shankar Sankaran and Pernille Christensen on a climate change education initiative. She visits us from the University of Louisville in the USA where she is Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, Evaluation, and Organizational Development, in the College of Education and Human Development.
Mary is a participatory action researcher who conducts work in school, community, and organizational settings. She is the editor, with David Coghlan, of the SAGE Encyclopedia of Action Research (2014). Her most recent book with Sarah Banks is Ethics in Participatory Research for Health and Social Well-Being: Cases and Commentaries (2019).
