To foster collaboration between industry, government and academic experts in construction industry digital transformation by integrating digital tools and methodologies to ensure that the current and the next generation of construction industry professionals are equipped to lead digital transformation of the Australian construction industry.

  • Build strong ties with digital construction tool providers, tech companies, and industry leaders to ensure students have access to the latest tools and insights.
  • Organize seminars, webinars, and guest lectures with digital construction experts, providing students with networking opportunities and insights into potential career paths.

2. Digital Curriculum Integration and Evolution

  • Integrate digital construction methodologies and tools into the core BCPM curriculum, ensuring students are well-versed in the latest technologies.
  • Support the design of hands-on workshops, labs, and site visits that emphasize the application of digital tools in real-world construction contexts.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, where students work on digital construction projects, sharing insights and learning from each other.
  • Regularly update the curriculum and teaching methodologies based on the latest trends and advancements in digital construction.

3. Research & Development

  • Foster collaborations with industry partners, governmental bodies, and international institutions to access diverse funding opportunities and enhance the program's research capabilities.
  • Pursue and secure external research grants to fund innovative projects, studies, and initiatives within the realm of digital construction project management.
  • Encourage students to undertake research projects that explore the potential of emerging digital technologies in construction project management.
  • Offer opportunities for HDR students to receive external industry supervision by an expert matter and a practitioner in the industry.
