Dr Muhammad Chutiyami

About

Dr Muhammad Chutiyami is an early career researcher with an interest in broad areas of community/primary healthcare. His research program is largely in the areas of community health and education, including vaccinations and infectious diseases, communities’ mental health, rehabilitation, intervention programs and higher education experiences.

Impact

Dr Chutiyami was awarded the 2022 best performing Early Career Researcher in the SoNM. Previously, he was recognised for exceptional contributions to community diabetes campaigns in the United Kingdom as well as community outreach services, including vaccination campaigns and health education in Nigeria. 

His research build on supporting communities through high-impact research in the areas of Covid-19, malaria, health education and community-based interventions.
