Temporary Compliant

You can gain temporary compliance only in relation to Hepatitis B if you have evidence of vaccination or completed serology test within the last 12 months. This will give you time to complete the full course and redo a serology test. You must follow the NSW Health schedule for Hepatitis B vaccination (opens an external link) which is specifically for students and may differ from what your GP advises.

I.e., If a student doesn’t have immunity after the 1st full vaccination course, they will be required to have a booster dose and complete the serology test 4 weeks after.

Not Compliant Refer to your ‘ClinConnect Student Verification Assessment Outcomes Receipt’ OR ‘checks’ tab in MyPlacement to see what is outstanding and follow instructions provided

Students who wish to update their compliance checks throughout their degree will need to:

Complete the relevant UTS forms in MyPlacement:

  • UTS Inherent Student Declaration Form (All students)
  • UTS Working with Children Check Details Form (Nursing students only)
  • UTS First Aid Certificate Details Form (Nursing students only)

AND

Refer to the ‘checks’ tab in MyPlacement for any outstanding NSW Check and instructions on how to update these.
