A place where UTS creative writers – current students and alumni – can share new work

Join current students and alumni at 6pm on the first Friday of every month for the UTS Writer’s Salon. While every month features a different UTS-affiliated creative writer with a new publication, any students or alumni are welcome to read. Polish off your favourite excerpt, or simply come to listen and be inspired.

Masters’ students all impressed, showing that the UTS creative writing program continues to be deserving of its reputation. – Claire Mulcahy, attendee.

The next UTS Writer’s Salon will focus on historical fiction, and specifically the latest book by Caroline Beecham, a fascinating look at a forgotten character from 20th Century history and the remarkable work done by the Society for the Protection of Science and Learning.

Come along to discover how creative writing turns facts into compelling narratives and the research needed by any writer interested in history.
