Looking for the latest on UTS student life?
UTS Insider is UTS’s student e-newsletter designed to keep you updated on everything you need to know about studying at UTS. From the social to the academic, UTS Insider collects info about events, activities, important notices, workshops, campus facilities, giveaways and heaps more.
UTS Insider's two editions are tailored to the needs of coursework and higher degree research students. UTS Insider comes to your UTS email inbox weekly for coursework students and every four weeks for research students.
We encourage you to email us your feedback to help us make this newsletter as useful as possible.
Want to submit to Insider?
During session, Insider is released every Monday except for StuVac weeks.
Our team will give priority to content that’s current, first-release and engaging to the majority of UTS students. Before submitting to Insider, please consider if your content is relevant using the following guidelines:
- It applies broadly to all or most students.
- It is concise and interesting.
- The timing of the submission is relevant to where students are at in the session e.g. assessments, exams.
- The content is visually engaging and cohesive with the UTS brand.
What to include in your submission
To submit, please email your content to insider@uts.edu.au and include the following:
- Heading (4-5 words)
- 20-25 word description
- Website link for more information
- Image you’ve obtained permission to use, with no text, 290 x 200 pixels (landscape)
- Any associated dates or deadlines we should be aware of.
Please have all content submitted by 5pm Wednesday for the send on the following Monday.
Please note, the Insider team has final editorial control over the content of the newsletter and may make changes to text and any photographs to ensure a consistent tone of voice. We also use our discretion when determining if notices are included and excluded from UTS Insider.
