An interactive user interface for a satellite antenna system.
Created by UTS Cross-Faculty Collaboration Scheme and industry partner Benelec Pty Ltd and guidance from Prof. Karu Esselle, A/Prof William Raffe, Dr. Linda Matthews, visual designer, Dr. Andrew Bluff from Rollerchimp this visualisation was created with the Unity Game Engine.
The major advantages of this technology are low-profile (flat panel), low-power consumption, extremely low-cost, lightweight, and high efficiency.
These allow it to be mounted on a vehicle, train, or yacht to provide Satellite Connectivity on the Move (SOTM) or as a deployable solution to provide satellite connectivity in remote areas.
