Bringing together current students, academics, industry partners and like-minded tech enthusiasts to take part in an array of activities including hackathons, workshops, industry panels and student showcases.
As a current student participating in Tech Festival, you’ll be able to receive in-real-time feedback from academics and industry partners on your work without the pressure of exams and assignments!

It's a festival of many events such as showcases, hackathons, game jams, a whole bunch of competitions where we're bringing challenges from industry for students to fix in the classroom, but not in the traditional teaching scenario.

Tech Festival highlights

Showcases
Showcases are the standout events of the Tech Festival! Our showcases allowed students to demonstrate their projects across Artificial Intelligence, Games, Prototypes and Robotics.

iOS Hackathon
Held in collaboration with Bilue and Commonwealth Bank, the iOS Hackathon saw students unlock their creativity as they created an iOS application from scratch in teams.

Space Day
With rocketry workshops, rover demonstrations, and seminars featuring Australia’s first astronaut Dr Paul Scully-Power AM, space enthusiasts were inspired by industry experts to pursue a career in space.
