Undergraduate pathways
Our Master of Physiotherapy places are very competitive, but by studying the UTS Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Excercise Therapy major), a place in the Masters is allocated to you. Upon completion of your undergraduate degree, with a credit average and successful interview*, you will be admitted into the program.
The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Exercise Therapy major) provides students with an in-depth understanding of the processes and mechanisms underlying sport and exercise science. Students develop the knowledge and skills required to plan and manage sport across a variety of settings.
Upon completion of your undergraduate degree, join the Graduate School of Health in your reserved place* in the Master of Physiotherapy course, to become a registered Physiotherapist.
*In order to progress to the UTS Master of Physiotherapy, you must successfully complete the requirements for the UTS Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Exercise Therapy major), with at least a credit average, as well as a successful internal interview at the end of the third semester in the Bachelor’s degree. The interview will usually take around 20 minutes during which an academic panel will assess your communication and, interpersonal skills as well as your interest in and commitment to physiotherapy as a career. Successful candidates will be guaranteed admission into the UTS Master of Physiotherapy.
