  What sets this course apart is the unique combination of property economics with international expertise, culminating in a year abroad at a partner university and an honours research project. You'll need to maintain a credit average to access this prestigious pathway.

  You will acquire skills in property valuation, market analysis, investment, and development, alongside economic, legal, and financial knowledge. This blend of expertise ensures versatility in your career, with the ability to adapt to various professional environments.

  Learning is interactive, with a balance of individual and group work, theory, and practical application. Industry engagement is integral, with input from professionals and exposure to real-world projects, ensuring you are workplace-ready upon graduation.

  In addition to property economics, you will spend two years learning a new language and culture, further enhancing your international employability. This course equips you with a broad knowledge base and the ability to navigate an internationalised professional landscape effectively.

  In this degree students learn the specialist knowledge required to enter the property sector, with skills in property valuation, market analysis, investment and development. Their skill set is just as relevant locally as it is internationally.

  This degree covers economic, legal and financial disciplines, giving students the flexibility to pursue a variety of career paths. This business knowledge is also transferable, providing options for a transition to other sectors as careers develop.

  UTS graduates are highly sought after and have excellent starting salaries: the property industry actively recruits property economics students. Most students are working within the industry by their third year of study.

  This job-readiness results from UTS's industry connections: the curriculum was developed in consultation with industry, guest lecturers come from industry, and students work with real-world projects such as Barangaroo, Central Park and Green Square.

  The degree structures classes so that students do a mixture of individual and team-based work mixing theory and practice. This means graduates seamlessly fit into team-based, workplace environments.

  A further two years of study introduce and consolidate the learning of a language and culture other than English.

  The combined program is offered on a five-year, full-time basis. Students spend two sessions of study at a university or other higher education institution in the country of their major.

  2025 Indicative tuition fees for government-supported domestic students

  All offers for domestic undergraduate students are for Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP).This means the Australian Government contributes to your education costs, and you pay the remaining tuition fees, known as the student contribution. If eligible, you can defer payment through HECS-HELP, or you can choose to pay your fees upfront each session.
