The University of Technology Sydney offers a variety of classroom options for hire across multiple buildings. This includes the following set up: 

 

Light and bright collaborative style classroom space in UTS building 8

Collaborative

Studies have shown that active and collaborative learning gets results. The setup aims to actively encourage participation and working in groups, you can better learn critical thinking, communication and problem-solving in teams.

Pod

Our Pod classrooms are configured for group work with LCD screens and computers, supporting technology-enabled collaborative work.

Oval 

UTS has two oval classrooms, located in Building 8. The shape of the space delivers an experience similar to a performance in an elliptical theatre, where the audience becomes part of the show and are designed to facilities interaction and dialogue.

Seminar room

Seminar rooms are designed for flexible configuration, with flat floors and movable furniture to support group-based activities.

All our classrooms feature contemporary technology. Such as ‘Fixed AV Smart’ lecterns with touch-screen that include built-in computer, data projector, DVD/CD, document camera, lectern microphones and projector screens.
