Visualisation Institute Core members Ilaria Vanni Accarigi, Alexandra Crosby, James Goodman, Elise van den Hoven, Shannon Foster, Ella Cutler, Kane Pham, and Amy Lin have researched a cross-faculty funded project Water Stories thatmaps the history and practices of water.
This research project developed during the 2021 and 2022 La Niña events on stories of water in and around Green Square. It offers a way to map, materialise and activate the social and environmental histories and practices of water in Green Square, Australia’s largest urban renewal project.
An easy 10km bike ride spanning Beaconsfield, Rosebery, Zetland, Alexandria, and Waterloo on cycleways and quiet streets, with Pedal Set Go guided rides showcasing cycleways that help people learn bicycle-friendly routes to navigate their way around the city while also learning about the Water Stories.
