AACTA Awards 2020

The 2020 AACTA Awards featured a host of nominations - and a couple of wins - for outstanding screen productions involving former FASS students

Jamie Hilton (BA Communication, Media Arts and Production, 2003) - for Best Indie Film (Standing Up For Sunny) WINNER

Bonnie Elliott (BA Communication, 1998) for Best Cinematography (H is for Happiness) 

Alana Hicks (MA Media Arts Production, 2011) & Sleena Wilson (BA Communication, Media Arts and Production, 2015) for Best Short (Chicken)

Sam Jennings (B Communication, 1996) for Best Short (The Moogai)

Karen Pearlman (Doctor of Creative Arts, 2006 and MA Media Arts and Production, 2002), Richard James Allen (Doctor of Creative Arts, 2005) & Meg White (BA Communication, Media Arts and Production, 2009) for Best Short (I Want to Make a Film About Women)

Vonne Patiag (BA Communication, Media Arts and Production, 2010) for Best Online (Halal Gurls)

Liz Watts for Best Film (True History Of The Kelly Gang) & Best Telefeature/Mini Series (Stateless) WINNER
