Early Career Researcher Dr Alana McCambridge from UTS Physiotherapy at the Graduate School of Health has been awarded an UTS Early Career Research (ECR) Grant for 2018.

The UTS ECR Grants Scheme was established to provide Early Career Researchers project support to undertake research that would lead to enhancement of future funding opportunities and research outputs.
Alana is currently a lecturer in the Master of Physiotherapy program. Her research in the University’s Clinical Neurostimulation Laboratory uses noninvasive brain stimulation techniques in humans to better understand neurological movement disorders such as stroke and dystonia. By increasing our understanding of the neurological deficits that are present in these movement disorders, new rehabilitation strategies can be developed to improve motor performance and reduce motor impairment.
The UTS Graduate School of Health congratulates Dr McCambridge on this fantastic achievement and wishes her all the best with her ongoing research work.
