Professors Jane Phillips and Meera Agar attended the 24th International Conference of Indian Association of Palliative Care held in Coimbatore, India 10-12 February 2017 as invited speakers.
During the conference:
Prof Phillips contribution to a session on palliative care education focussed on opportunities for palliative care research to be integrated into nursing education; and on Day 2, she presented on end of life nursing care and co-facilitated the ‘Hands on Training’: lymphoedema and stoma care workshop while in a parallel session –Prof Agar spoke about delirium.
On the final day of the conference, Prof Agar chaired a ‘Free Communication’ session.
