ImPACCT Early Career Researcher Leadership Forum

The inaugural ImPACCT Early Career Researcher Leadership forum was initiated and facilitated by PhD student Dr Jessica Lee. PhD student Priyanka Bhattarai was an invited guest panellist speaking on the topic of 'managing a research team' and the audience was able to learn from her extremely useful advice and experience. Other highlights of the session were a panel on 'involving medical students and jmo's in your research' and 'speed dating for scientists'.

Over thirty early career (and senior) researchers attended the forum held on 1 December 2016 to learn, share and network. This forum will become a regular event to create a community of practice for early career researchers primarily aimed at clinician-researchers passionate about quality of life, symptom control and supportive care.
