Samira Aili, Benjamin Raymon and Iian Berry have been awarded with Oral Presenter and Poster Presenter prizes at the 2014 Australasian Protemics Society Symposium, which was held in Lorne, Victoria.
Samira, currently pursuing her PhD, was awarded a poster presenter prize, which focused on her honours work, investigating insecticidal peptides in various ant venoms for use as an insecticide.
