We are pleased to announce Danielle Woolley will be joining us as an HTI Fellow. Danielle will be leading a project to help HTI use research to support better decision making by government and industry.
Danielle has a rich history working with federal and state governments to tackle social disadvantage, including senior roles at the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet with a responsibility for driving policy in the social, economic and environmental portfolios.
At HTI Danielle will be leading a piece of work to help HTI leverage the methods, insights and learnings from our THRIVE project, to support better decision making by government and industry in other ‘high stakes’ situations. THRIVE aims to identify new pathways for children and young people who unfairly experience barriers to education.
According to Professor Sally Cripps, HTI Director, Technology, THRIVE will push the frontier of data science methods to generate new insights and guide designs of practical initiatives that overcome the limitations of current knowledge.
