Refugee Student Settlement Pathway Scholarship

The Refugee Student Settlement Pathway Scholarship was developed under the Refugee Student Settlement Pathway (RSSP) program to accept refugee students into higher education. It aims to build a permanent, complementary migration pathway enabling refugee students to settle in Australia and access safety and life-changing educational opportunities.

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:

• Have applied and been deemed eligible for admission to a UTS undergraduate degree
• Apply and commence at UTS in the next available intake for the course after completion of their study used as their basis of admission; and
• Be intending to enrol in
• Have a Permanent Humanitarian Visa and therefore be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP)
• Be identified by Skill Path as being eligible for the Refugee Student Settlement Pathway program

RECIPIENT SELECTION CRITERIA

• Academic Merit qualification as the basis of admission
• Motivation to succeed in their chosen course.

Skill Path will share all applications of eligible candidates will be presented to a Scholarships Committee, which will undertake the selection of Recipients based on the above selection criteria.
