Overview
Recruiting PhD candidates interested in researching the technological, financial and/or legal innovations required to enable the global transition to financial markets 3.0. This is applied research including an industry placement and generous tax-free stipend.
Who is eligible
- Full-time only
- Either international or domestic
Must be researching in one of the following areas:
Subject areas:
- Applied Finance: Automated market makers; tokenisation; pricing models
- Law: the legal landscape of digital finance, including compliance, regulation, and the rise of smart contracts.
- Computer Science: technology solutions to enable digital finance - blockchain, security, data management, and machine learning
Selection process
- Candidates must be eligible for enrolment in the UTS PhD program
- Applications evaluated based on academic merit and the degree of alignment of the research proposal with the strategic research focus of the Digital Finance CRC.
