- Up to $16,000 per year towards the Recipient’s student contribution amount for UTS tuition fees, including the Student Services and Amenities Fee; and
- Living Allowance support of up to $9,000 per year, paid twice a year.

Overview
The Crookes Family Foundation U@Uni Academy Scholarship will provide full tuition fee support and a cash stipend for two students transitioning into a UTS undergraduate program, to assist them as they undertake their university studies.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for the Scholarship an applicant must:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; and
- Be offered or admitted into an eligible UTS undergraduate program
- Have graduated from the U@Uni Pathways program in the prior to the year of selection.
- Apply for this scholarship online using the UTS Scholarship Application Form; and
- If required, be available to attend an interview (in person or via Zoom)
Selection process
As demonstrated in the Scholarship application:
- Likelihood that the Scholarship will increase the ability of the Recipient to complete their UTS course at a higher level of performance than would otherwise be the case
- Initiative and leadership potential as evidenced by extracurricular and non-academic activities
- Motivation and commitment to succeed in their UTS degree program
Preference may be given to students who have additional educational disadvantages including:
- Geographical Disadvantage
- Sole parent responsibilities
- Carer responsibilities
- Long-term medical condition, disability, or ongoing effects of abuse
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Refugee status
