Monica Patel
Monica Patel is a Healthcare Education and Engagement Manager at Macular Disease Foundation Australia, where she leads education and engagement initiatives aimed at increasing awareness, early detection, and best practice management of macular disease across the community and among healthcare professionals.
With a strong commitment to holistic, patient‑centred care, Monica is passionate about empowering both patients and health professionals with evidence‑based education and practical resources to help reduce the impact of macular disease and improve quality of life.
Fauzia Hussein
Fauzia is a recent law graduate from the University of Technology Sydney, where she completed her Juris Doctor after earning a Bachelor of Business (Management). She now works within the litigation practice at Shine Lawyers, focusing on plaintiff insurance matters.
As a first-generation business and law graduate, she brings a grounded perspective to navigating the profession, shaped by a non-linear path through events, sales, legal technology, and top-tier law practice. Passionate about access, mentorship, and challenging traditional pathways into law, Fauzia is committed to making the profession more inclusive.
