Academic advisers provide advice to assist students who are on:

• academic caution
• early intervention

If you are meeting with your academic adviser because of an academic caution, you will need to complete theRecord of Academic Caution/Early Intervention form(PDF, 1069kB) and take it with you to your appointment.

UG Psychology courses

To request an appointment please send an email to UG.Psychology@uts.edu.au. In the subject line, please indicate “Request for UG Psychology Academic Adviser” and in the body of your email please provide your name, UTS student number and course. Your appointment request will be confirmed via return email as soon as possible.

Postgraduate GSH courses

To request an appointment please send an email to GSHAdmin@uts.edu.au. In the subject line, please indicate “Request for Graduate School of Health Academic Adviser” and in the body of your email please provide your name, UTS student number and course. Your appointment request will be confirmed via return email as soon as possible.

Faculty of Law 

Please follow the instructions outlined in the email you received from the UTS Progressions, Results and Conferrals Team. Students will have the opportunity to book a confidential appointment with an academic adviser for one on one, personalised advice and approval of their study support strategies. Any queries can be directed to Law.AcademicCaution@uts.edu.au.

Bachelor of Science students who have not yet chosen a major should email a meeting request to the facultywhich includes your name, UTS student ID and course code. Your meeting request will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Transdisciplinary School

UTS Business School

UTS Business School students who are placed on Academic Caution or Early Intervention will receive notification from the Student Administration Unit Progression team, via an email. 

This email will contain specific instructions on how to complete the online Business Academic Caution form. 

The online form will re-open after the result is released for each Session (Autumn, Spring or Summer) and will be available until the last day to enrol in subjects of the Main Calendar of each Session (Autumn, Spring or Summer) as shown in Academic Year Dates. The form is accessible 24 hours a day, every day during this period.
