As a student, you are expected to meet a minimum rate of academic progress (MRP):

Undergraduate and postgraduate students

You must pass 50% of the credit points for the subjects in which you have been enrolled at the end of any half year of study, in any year of enrolment in your course.

Learn more about academic progression in Section 10 of the UTS Student Rules.

International students

If you're studying on a student visa, it's important you understand the additional restrictions and requirements that may apply to you, as well as the academic progress requirements for international students.

Failure to meet progress requirements

If you fail to meet your academic progress requirements at the end of any half year of study (in any year of enrolment in your course), you may be placed on academic caution.
