The Capstone Project is a significant piece of engineering work conducted in the final session(s) of the Bachelor of Engineering under the supervision of a member of academic staff. It provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate your capacity to integrate the knowledge and skills acquired throughout your course and apply them to a real-world engineering problem.
You enrol in the following subjects*:
- 41029 Engineering Research Preparation (6cp) (41029 is a pre-requisite to 41030)
- 41030 Engineering Capstone (6cp)
Note: Students generally enrol in these subjects over two consecutive sessions. The subjects are available in Autumn and Spring sessions, but there is limited availability in Summer Session via eRequest. To enquire about Summer enrolment, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- 48006 Capstone Project (6cp)
*Please refer to your study plan for correct subject numbers
