Wear It Purple Day celebrates and supports LGBTQIA+ youth, encouraging schools, workplaces and communities to show rainbow young people they are seen, valued and safe. The 2026 theme, ‘Colours of Courage’, celebrates the many forms of courage shown every day by LGBTQIA+ young people, allies and communities.

From geopolitics and democracy to culture, community, freedom and meaning, each offers a different vision of what a better world could look like.
