A river runs through presents major new work by Spence Messih exploring the entwined currents of water and gender. Through sculpture, print and film, the exhibition reflects on control, resistance and fragility, drawing connections between ecological vulnerability and contemporary experiences of gender.

Join UTS to celebrate 10 years of the Deep Green Biotech Hub (DGBH). Since 2016, DGBH has connected NSW businesses, researchers and innovators with cutting-edge biotech. At this event, we'll launch the National Roadmap for Algae in Australia, and share an exciting announcement about the future of the Green Light Accelerator Program.

Australia is heading into one of the biggest demographic shifts in history. Over 800,000 of us plan to retire in five years, reshaping life for every generation. An event for all ages, Riding the Silver Wave asks how we design homes, money and community that work across a lifetime. Hosted by UTS, moderated by Geraldine Doogue AO.

Disruptive Methods brings together UTS researchers and collaborators from Brighton, Canberra, Edinburgh, New York and São Paulo for two days of critical inquiry, reimagining the tools, systems and methods through which we understand and shape the world. Expect roundtables, workshops, performances, a Data Salon and an HDR exhibition.
