Vincent Jiang
Hi, I'm Vincent, a first-year Bachelor of Information Technology Co-op student at UTS.
Quality teaching has a significant impact on every student's university experience. My goal is to advocate for engaging, practical, and inclusive learning experiences that prepare students for their future careers. As a Co-op student currently gaining industry experience while studying, I appreciate the value of connecting classroom learning with real-world applications. I will actively seek student feedback, encourage continuous improvement in teaching practices, and support initiatives that enhance accessibility, innovation, and student success. My goal is to help ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive both academically and professionally.

I believe the strongest universities are built not only through academic excellence, but through the people who choose to invest in their community.
As a 2nd year Bachelor of Property Economics student, I have actively sought opportunities to contribute to UTS beyond the classroom. Through the UTS Peer Network, Bluebird Pantry and Night Owl, and The Big Lift, I have connected with students from diverse backgrounds and gained a deeper understanding of our university community.
I have completed my UTS SOUL Award hours and continue to volunteer in service of UTS and the wider community. These experiences have taught me that meaningful leadership begins with listening, but requires the confidence to act.
I would bring to the Board initiative, a broad student network, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine commitment to turning student perspectives into meaningful action.

Amelia Grace Wilson-Williams
Hi UTS students! I am seeking re-election as the Undergraduate Student Representative on the Teaching and Learning Committee for a third year. I will continue elevating student voices and advocating for reform.
Through the Committee, I have advocated on ableism, disability discrimination and barriers experienced by UTS students, drawing also on my experience as UTSSA Disabilities Officer.
I helped establish annual reporting from the Accessibility Service and Disabilities Officer to the Committee, creating an ongoing avenue for disabled students’ experiences and perspectives to inform teaching and learning discussions.
I have also contributed student perspectives on gender-based violence and barriers to reporting, the use and implications of AI in education, and provided feedback during consultation on the University’s now-implemented Student Rules.
If re-elected, I will continue advocating for student consultation, educational equity, and inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning that reflects students’ experiences and needs, progressing work already underway toward impactful reform.
