Candidates’ statements

Suzana Stojanov

I am nominating for the UniSuper Consultative Committee because I believe professional staff should have a genuine voice in matters that affect us and our future. As a Senior Operations Officer at UTS, I work closely with colleagues across the University and have developed a strong appreciation of the diverse perspectives and needs of professional staff.

I value listening, asking questions and ensuring people feel heard. I would bring a practical, thoughtful and collaborative approach to the Committee, with a genuine commitment to representing professional staff fairly and constructively. I see this as an opportunity to contribute, learn and provide a strong voice for professional staff across UTS.

Meagan Solomon

As a professional staff member who has worked at UTS for almost 10 years, I understand the important role we play in supporting the university’s success and ensuring diverse voices are heard. In my time at UTS, I have worked closely with colleagues from across the university, bringing people together, building consensus and navigating complex challenges. These experiences have reinforced the importance of listening, collaboration and representing the interests of others with integrity and respect. If elected to the Consultative Committee, I will be a thoughtful and approachable advocate for the broader UTS community. I am committed to listening to members, representing a range of perspectives, and helping ensure decisions are informed, transparent and focused on the long-term interests of our members and university.
