Whether you’re an established planning professional or you’re looking to take the leap into a whole new career, the UTS Master of Planning will prepare you to leave your mark on the built environment.

At UTS, urban planning is about building connections — with communities, governments developers and other built environment professionals who are integral to the planning process. You’ll study in the heart of Sydney, combining core subjects in planning, sustainable development and urban design — with the acquisition of uniquely human-centred skills like negotiation and community engagement.  

This leading degree has multiple pathways to entry, including via degree qualifications or with work experience in a related field. Accredited by the Planning Institute of Australia and with Commonwealth Supported Places available, the Master of Planning will prepare you to deliver positive outcomes for cities, their inhabitants and the urban environment.
