Overview

The EPM Projects Scholarship aims to encourage academic excellence of female students with the desire to support and increase the number of qualified female professionals in the building industry. The scholarship recipient will also be given an opportunity to undertake a work integrated learning experience through a work placement opportunity at EPM.

EPM Projects is one of Australia’s premier providers of professional services in development management, town planning, construction project management, building advisory and facilities management.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for the Scholarship an applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Be Female; and
  • Australian or New Zealand citizen, or the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; and
  • Be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Construction Project Management (C10214); and
  • Have successfully completed a minimum of 96 credit points (or equivalent) in their course at the time of the scholarship application; and
  • Have achieved a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 or above; and
  • Submit a curriculum vitae; and
  • All candidates must apply using the UTS online Scholarships Application form to be eligible; and
  • All candidates must be available to attend an interview (in person or via zoom).

Selection process

As demonstrated in the Scholarship application and interview:

  • Alignment of values, goals and culture with those of EPM Projects;
  • Knowledge of Construction Project Management;
  • Motivation and interest to succeed in their chosen Construction Project Management course;
  • Initiative in personal and professional life;
  • Academic Merit.
