A cornerstone of the $1 billion UTS Campus Master Plan, the landmark building was designed by Durbach Block Jaggers, in association with BVN Architecture.
Located on the corner of Thomas and Jones streets in the heart of the City Campus, the new Science and Graduate School of Health Building (Building 7) connects seamlessly to Building 4 to create a new science and health teaching, learning and research precinct.
It has been future-proofed to accommodate more than 1200 staff and students over eight occupied levels, three of them underground, and is notable for its state-of-the-art teaching, learning and research facilities. These include a 220-seat Super Lab which, as the video below shows, is much more than your average science lab.

Overlooking the reimagined Alumni Green, the building also provides easy access to Buildings 1, 2 and 10, as well as the new Faculty of Engineering and IT (Building 11) on Broadway and the underground Library Retrieval System.
The building opened for teaching at the start of Semester 1, 2015 (23 February 2015).
It is located on the corner of Thomas and Jones streets, Ultimo, with access from Jones St and Alumni Green. Visitors are welcome in the public areas of the building, but please be mindful that classes may be in progress.
